Graal VS Imperim
http://forums.graal.in/forums/showth...165#post110165 In my opinion if this engine comes out. There is really no reason for graal anymore. This is what graal should've been basically. What's your take on this? |

If it supported actual offline games then that would be great. I feel Graal's biggest flaw is that it only supports online servers, and online servers are VERY difficult to make. It's an entirely different thing trying to make an MMO vs an offline game. Graal isn't that bad of an engine, and I would totally make an offline game with it if I could... but I can't. I have pleaded and tried to encourage Stefan to explore that route but never had any luck. |

I think this'll be really something, for my community. Unixmad has taken steps to reach out lately, but they are very slow-going. I think this is our best long-term solution, and has come farther than any project before it.

Oh, hey there.
I'd like to note that we're not trying to be 'another graal'. We're taking the parts of the graal workflow that we enjoyed, and parts that we think could be improved, and adding in features others have been requesting in graal for years. However nobody is forced to make a "graal-like" game in our engines, for example the game I'm working on is completely powered by the same engine. Fortune Fighters (Formally Bounty Hunt) |

I don't know how these things work, so I have a question. In graal, if someone creates a server that produces income, graal benefits all the profit. Is this going to be the case with this engine or will individual server owners own their server?

Keep in mind the standard version is completely free, and has plans to support all of graal's features out of the box. |
