Depends at your stance. Acquiring furniture probably has a .001 chance on killing you. Acquiring ebola has a 40-60 % chance, give or take.

The only reason Ebola is not dangerous at the moment for us is because we have it contained. The moment we lose containment, if it happens, it will affect every single one of our lives. Yes, even the ones that are saying right now that ebola is a joke.

I think it must be because everyone has already panicked about the others before realising they are not a massive problem for the rest of the world. In a few months this whole Ebola scare will die down.

Panicking? really? You mean discussing possibilities? Chances are Ebola will not be a danger to the U.S. in the immediate future. It is how we speculate the containment procedures going on that allows us to improve the system.

I'm surprised this whole scenario about ebola is still going on, like HIV it'll die down to a point where no one cares.  

Although, if you think about it ; every disease or virus is started with 0 deaths per year. Then I grows into 100. Maybe the next year it's 90. And then after that, 120. It'll gradually go up and down until it does get as but as HIV, if not, bigger. Not saying that will happen, but there's a slight chance.

We shouldn't worry about Ebola in the US.
