On UN there was a system where staff would hire (Spar Moderator)s who would constantly spectate spars and report any fishy stuff to GPs. I'm sure it would help narrow down the ridiculous amount of dumb/fake complaints on iClassic. It was good because the spar moderator was always someone who was at least relatively active in the spar community so they understood how the movement/mechanics of the game actually work. No idea if it's even necessarily a good idea, but anything is better than having someone obviously speed/godmode for 1 hour in the mixed room without any consequences.

If anything GPs need to have better tools to help detect this stuff(not automatically deal with them), not purely relying on the GP being able to spot such minor differences. I'm not disagreeing that maybe sparring needs different moderation. It's a very competitive part of the game, I just don't think "we need better GPs" is really the answer people think it will be on its own. |

I do notice a rise in speed hackers lately, takes forever to get them banned. But somehow if we avoid the chat filter its an automatic ban. Im never getting over that ban for me saying arse in my status

Or make something that detects speed... I heard that it was done before on UN. |

I think that the built-in speed detection performed pretty poorly so it was disabled? There are other methods of detecting speed hackers though, fp4's pal Ruxxter scripted one for UN last time we were staff there: http://pastebin.com/cCkhYtxr You send a trigger to the server from the client every second, when they're in a spar level, and if the server sees that it's receiving 1.05 triggers per second on average, rather than 1 trigger, then you know the client is hacking their process speed by 5% There were occasional false positives, but in the repeating instances it was able to successful detect speed increases as small as 102% I don't like automated banning for speed hackers, since false positives often seem an issue, but any tool or log like this would seem pretty helpful I'm sure the case of this not being possible for iClassic is the fact that the server itself isn't even stable enough... |

SORRY FOR THE IGNORANT/BAD RAP MUSIC first time using OBS and had no idea stereo mix was on or whatever, HUNNIDBAND HUNNIDBAND, etc. red hair with the indicator, compare her speed to literally every other player she spars anyone that knows how Graal's FPS cap works knows what's going on here there are several players who have been doing it for weeks, months, maybe years and not getting caught because they're speeding at low levels, but it's a huge advantage pretty sure the community would be surprised how many people are doing this and flying under the radar bonus video for anyone doubting this is an actual problem |

As much as its a witchhunt, glad you posted the video of Carly. I'm sure others including myself have suspected her.
