In the storyline of graal all it says is King Tristam mysteriously went missing and now he has mysteriously magically returned(with a new look too).

The game still registers The Castle as a guild fort as if your outside the entrance to it and try entering a house it displays "you cannot enter a house while in a guild fort" so perhaps castle will be capturable once again?  

Can someone clarify the history of King Tristam in the past because I'm not clear on that

And hopefully it will be a guild fort I'd be interested to see how'd they incorporate that with the new design

That's just something that needs to be removed. It just wasnt thought of.

King Tristam the timeline says he went mysteriously missing after the baddy king went into hiding so yea.

This King Tristam doesn't even look like the original King Tristam tho. might as well change the guys name to King Tristam II

The thing is though, iClassic isn't supposed to be canon to the GtA storyline as it is based on it rather than a sequel. Would be weird to have a Tristam II in iClassic when there never was a Tristam there in the first place so it makes more sense to name him Tristam. Besides, things in iClassic aren't meant to be exactly like GtA including the design of areas and the look of NPCs.

Its the same land and near enough the same period as before...golden gate, zorbis, etc...

Agreed I guess. Iclassic is the time period after the war that raged 10,000 years ago so I guess then.

But the storyline also follows with the guild forts being removed. Just like Snowtown Fort was destroyed by some group, pyrats or something in the timeline. so it would be nice to atleast follow other things.

So what if tristam was never in Iclassic before. the guard by the graal cathedral still decides to speak of his name than just saying "The king of graal"

You were able to enter houses and guild houses before tho, almost every guild did that, regroup in front of flagroom or at castles old fountain.
